This ceramic pot is both practical and decorative, ideal for serving honey every day. The pot is decorated either with the Dacian standard (Draco*) or with Burebista’s* portrait. The order also includes the wooden dipper stick.
The honey pot is hand-made from porcelain, using traditional methods of shaping, coloring and firing at high temperatures. This product is made by Storyart.
*Draco was the war standard used by the ancient Dacians, as shown in numerous battle scenes sculpted on Trajan’s triumphal column from Rome that commemorates the Roman emperor’s victory in the Dacian Wars (101-102 AD and 105-106 AD). The standard combined a dragon’s cloth-made body with a wolf metal-made head. The specific shape of the mouth created a strong howl when the wind passed through it.
*Burebista was an ancient Getae king (82-44 BC) who unified the Dacian tribes.
